Joining the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce specifically offers several key benefits

Chamber Ambassador

Hello, my name is Rhonda Logar. In 2016 my family relocated to the Yuba/Sutter communities from Napa Valley. Upon relocating to the community, I worked as a preschool teacher, however in 2017 I decided to venture into the insurance industry and join Aflac as an independent life and health agent. The Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce was suggested to me by a fellow colleague and in February 2018 I joined as an Ambassador for both personal and professional growth.

Truth be told, I was unaware what the Chamber of Commerce fully did or what my role as an Ambassador would entail. I quickly learned the value of the Chamber and how they advocate for and support the local business community. In addition, I learned how my role as an Ambassador played a pivotal part in promoting and supporting the mission of the chamber. In 2019, I joined the leadership team of the Ambassador program, serving as a committee chair in some facet and this year became the Vice Chair. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of being an Ambassador was in 2022 when I was honored the Ambassador of the Year Award for my commitment to the community.

My involvement with the Chamber led me to my current employer, Jillian Justice of Farmers Insurance. I obtained my property and casualty license and began working for her in September of 2021 as an agency producer.

Without the Chamber, I would not have cultivated the relationships I have in this amazing community. Being an Ambassador truly helped pull me out of my shell and create a sense of purpose, pride and confidence. I strongly recommend the Ambassador program to anyone looking to make a difference, build relationships, and grow personally and professionally. You cannot go wrong!
