Janell Willis

Executive Director

Janell Willis has taken the helm as the Executive Director of the Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passionate commitment to the region she calls home.

With over three decades of dedicated service to Yuba and Sutter Counties, Janell's career journey has been marked by her unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and businesses in the Yuba-Sutter community. Her expertise in business development, community engagement, and strategic leadership is a testament to her dedication to community growth.

Janell is not just a seasoned business developer; she is also a skilled communicator, both in writing and speech, making her a respected public speaker and presenter. She has a remarkable knack for building mutually beneficial partnerships that drive economic growth and has a strong track record of creating and maintaining impactful social media branding campaigns, contributing significantly to the success of her clients.

Janell's extensive background in organizational leadership and strategic planning aligns perfectly with the Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce's mission of promoting local businesses and fostering community growth. Her deep-rooted connection to the Yuba-Sutter community, where she has resided since the 6th grade with her husband and beloved dog, Harley, adds a personal touch to her commitment to its growth and prosperity.

Jacki Lee

Office Manager

Jacki has been with the Chamber since 2003, in one capacity or another. She was born in Chicago, lived in Alaska, where she worked for the federal government, in the accounting dept. She lived in Japan for 7 years, where she volunteered for the United States Air Force as office manager for the MWR dept, before moving to California. Jacki has lived in Yuba City for over 30 years. 

She raised a family and re-entered the work force, working in Advertising Sales at the Appeal-Democrat. She then worked at the Chamber of Commerce as Membership Director for 3 years. Jacki then tried a few other sales positions in the area, all while volunteering with the Chamber as an Ambassador. After 5 years, Jacki returned to the Chamber as Membership Director and is now the Office and Business Manager.

Jacki attended the University of Phoenix. She has served on the board of Casa de Esperanza, American Cancer Society and was Chair of the Board for Playzeum Yuba-Sutter. Jacki has been very active in the Chamber events, starting the Rise & Shines and Lunch Mobs, as well as being involved in the first Business Expos the Chamber hosted. She continues to support this community by helping at local events whenever possible.

Jacki has 3 children, 4 grandchildren and loves this community.

Celeste Brown

Marketing and Membership Director

Celeste Brown joined the Yuba-Sutter Chamber team on July 10, 2023. She brings with her more than 10 years of customer service experience, 5 years in Advertising and Marketing, and 8 years in sales. Additionally, being bilingual in Spanish and English allows her to effectively communicate with a wider range of individuals. 

Celeste's experience in marketing has equipped her with valuable skills that align with her new position as the new Marketing and Membership Director handling the Chamber’s memberships and marketing. She has been responsible for developing marketing strategies for various local businesses. Managing digital accounts such as Facebook and Instagram has given her a strong understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape. 

She grew up in Reno, NV, and moved to Yuba City in 2014. Celeste met her husband Chris here in Yuba City the same year she moved here. They now have two children. Celeste loves spending time with her family in her free time, Hiking or taking on a new adventure, or going to Reno and visiting her friends and family.
