About Us...
FREED provides services to people with disabilities through personal assistance and housing referral, peer support, personal and systems advocacy, information and referral, independent living skills and assistive technology. FREED's Fix It Program provides health and safety related home repairs or modifications. The Assistive Technology Program provides recycled equipment such as wheelchairs, shower benches, walkers and commodes free to consumers who need them, while a wide range of low-tech and high-tech equipment is available for loan.

About Us...
Yuba-Sutter Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. Partner families invest hundreds of hours of sweat equity into building their homes which are then sold the them at no profit and no interest. Habitat's "Brush with Kindness" serves low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability or family circumstances who struggle to maintain their homes, by focusing on exterior home repair services such as painting, minor exterior repairs, exterior clean-up and energy efficiency. Habitat's ReStore, located at 1501 B Street, Marysville, is a unique building materials reuse store that diverts large amounts of reusable materials from landfills by providing these materials to the public at low prices, making home improvements more affordable, and helping Habitat for Humanity build more homes.

About Us...
Hands of Hope: Resources for Homeless Families is a locally chartered non-profit which provides day services for families. Not a shelter, the center provides showers, laundry, lockers, a school readiness center, and academic assistance for older children and youth, as well as referral to other appropriate agencies and organizations as may be of assistance. The community has reached out with both its heart and its pocketbook to support this group's efforts to make a difference.
