Shop Local Committee

In 2010, this committee will continue the partnership with Think Yuba Sutter First, a multi-layered "Buy Local" campaign supported through the City of Yuba City, area automobile dealers and local businesspeople.  No "Shop Local" festivals are planned, as in previous years.

Annual Gala and Business Awards Ceremony

In 2010, this event will be held on March 13th at Beale Air Force Base, and the Chamber will select honorees and present these awards; Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Non-profit/Humanitarian Service Award, Civic Organization of the Year, Civic Leader of the Year, and the Athena Award. The event has seen attendance of more than 400 in years past.

Chamberopoly

In 2010, this event will be held on Thursday night, September 9th.  The Chamber's largest fundraiser and networking event, it includes raffle drawings, a casino style Cash Cube game, a giant dice roll, and other fun activities.  It also showcases Chamber caterers offering great food, great fun, and great networking! The event also draws several hundred people

Information Technology

New in 2010, this committee will assist the Chamber in developing cost-effective ideas for improving and optimizing communications with members and other targeted groups. They will also identify and distribute information and resources that Chamber members may use to enhance their business performance. The group will look at available communications methods, including social networking.
