Marketing Committee

Mission: Join in partnership with the cities and counties for a coordinated effort to improve the economic climate in the Yuba-Sutter area.

Shop Local Task Force 

This committee is mounting vendor festivals in various locations throughout the Marysville and Yuba City areas to introduce and re-acquaint residents to local businesses. In 2008, it is planning two festivals - one in Yuba City on May 10th, and one in October the Plumas Lake area of south Yuba County. Also in 2008, local media are working together on a project to help educate the community on the value to the entire community of spending its dollars where its residents live.
