Apartment Survey, 2005, conducted by the City of Yuba City
The majority of apartments in the area are 2-bedroom. Monthly rental costs vary widely for each type of unit. Studio apartments started as low as $350 and reached $515 a month: one-bedroom units varied from $300 to $825 a month; two-bedroom units ranged from $375 to $1250 a month; and three-bedroom units differed from $530 to $1450 a month. All of the four-bedroom units were located at the same complex and were renting at a subsidized rent for low-income households at the rate of $776 per month. The apartment survey is not regularly conducted, and this may be the only available. A good source for apartment availability and costs is the Appeal-Democrat classified ads .
