BUSINESS TODAY DEADLINE: Friday is the deadline to submit items for Business Today. E-mail or fax your item to mjones@yubasutterchamber.com or fax to 530-741-8645. Business Today is a members only publication printed in partnership with the Appeal-Democrat. Please limit your submissions to 75 words. Space is becoming increasingly tight as this popular business publication grows. CATERING BIDS FOR GBOF: Bid letters have been sent out to Chamber members that offer catering services. Six caterers will be featured at Great Balls of Fire, the Chamber's annual fundraiser to be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds is the host of this event, which takes the place of the traditional Business After Hours. With food, fantastic raffle prizes and a mega reverse raffle, it's a fun event for all to attend so mark your calendar. If you have not received a letter and would like to participate, call the Chamber at 743-6501 for details. "CHAMBER CHALLENGE" DOUBLES AIR TIMES: Comcast Channel 19 will air the "Chamber Challenge" four times in both June and July. The show also moves to 5 p.m. on its Friday air date during the Gold Sox season. The show, in which contestants compete for $500 to donate to the charity of their choice, will show at 7:30 p.m. June 25; 10:30 a.m. June 26; 5 p.m. June 27 and at 10:30 a.m. July 1. July's air dates will be announced closer to the show. If you would like to sponsor a category on the show contact Sandra Drown at Express Employment Professionals at 671-9202. Sponsorships cost $150. June sponsors include PIP Printing & Document Services and Gray's Business Solutions.
