Member Notes
The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce and local media outlets have teamed together to present local political forums via television and radio. The event will span two nights, Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 8. The Sutter County forum on May 7th will feature supervisor candidates for the 1st District at 6:00 p.m., District 4 at 7:15 and District 5 at 8:15. The Yuba County forum on May 8th will feature supervisor candidates for the 2nd District at 6:00 p.m., District 3 at 7:00 and District 4 at 8:00. Both evenings will be broadcast on Comcast Cable Channel 19 and simulcast on AM 1600 and FM 95.5 KUBA. Candidates will be interviewed by representatives from KUBA Radio and the Appeal-Democrat. Because the broadcast is originating from the Comcast studios, there will be no audience.
Written questions are being solicited in advance from the public for consideration for use by the moderators for each forum. Questions must be of the nature that all candidates can address. Send your questions to bob@kubaradio.com by Monday, May 5.
