CHAMBER OFFICE CLOSED: The Chamber office will open at 11 a.m. Thursday due to a staff/board training session.
FRIDAY DEADLINE FOR SHOP LOCAL FESTIVAL: Friday is the deadline to make a reservation for the SHOP LOCAL FESTIVAL on May 10th at the Raley's Shopping Center, Highway 99 and Bridge Street. A bounce house, Kids Zone, live radio remote, a barbecue, loads of raffle prizes, and area mascots are all planned The cost for a booth is just $50, with food vendors required to purchase a $30 event-day food permit from Sutter County Health Department. (Certificate of Insurance MUST be included with registration.) Friday, April 25, 7:30 a.m., Business Connection Breakfast: "Workforce Development, Generation Me" is the April topic. We are expecting a wonderful gourmet breakfast and an interesting presentation from sociology professor Marc Flacks on the generational differences of our workers. Join us at Flavors Restaurant at Yuba College, 2088 N. Beale Road, Linda. The cost is $15. Thanks to Yuba College for sponsoring the April breakfast and to Colusa Casino for the 2008 sponsorship of this event.
