VISITORS GUIDE DEADLINE FRIDAY: Thursday is the deadline to place an advertisement in Explore Yuba-Sutter, the 2008 Chamber Visitors Guide. The Visitors Guide, now in its 9th year of publication, is a definitive guide to life in the Yuba-Sutter area. The Chamber of Commerce has spent years producing its lists of restaurants, lodging, recreational venues and events. The staff updates these lists daily to guarantee the most accurate, comprehensive, and updated listings possible. The Chamber is the only organization keeping such comprehensive lists for the community. The Visitors Guide is produced in partnership with the Appeal-Democrat and the a-d agency. 15,000 Visitors Guides are distributed to all area motels and hotels, recreational and tourism locations and is used at community events and given to visitors, employers and potential employees and placed in relocation packets. There are more than 230 distribution locations. Call the Appeal-Democrat at 741-2345 for more information about advertising in the Visitors Guide.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SURVEY: The Government Affairs Committee is asking members to take a short survey to gauge your opinions on what issues the Chamber should target for political advocacy. The survey is at:

CHAIRMAN’S CIRCLE SPONSORSHIPS: The Chamber is working on the 2008 Chairman’s Circle recognizing Chamber members that make a financial commitment to the Chamber for 2008. Sponsorships start at $2,500 and are determined based on a menu-style list of Chamber sponsorships and products in which a member plans to participate throughout the year. The sponsorship includes the dues of the organization and substantial publicity through Chamber events and products.
