MEMBER NOTES:
GBOF DOUBLES PRIZES: Through the generosity of our members, basket donations for the upcoming Great Balls of Fire allow us to double your chances of winning at this fun annual event on Thursday, September 20, at 5:30 p.m. at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. This year, one in every five tickets drawn will win a basket compared to one in every 10 tickets in past years. Additionally, every 25th number drawn wins a cash prize, making your chances better than 1 out of 5 to win. This being a traditional Business After Hours Event, admission is free, food is free, even the fun is free. Only catch is you need to buy a ticket to be eligible to win prizes. With the grand prize based on tickets sold, the GBOF Committee believes the Grand Prize will be worth at least $4,000. Tickets, at a cost of $100, are available at the Chamber office, through Board members and Ambassadors. The names of people who buy tickets by Friday, September 14, will be listed in the program as event supporters.
