CHAMBER NOTES

July 17, 2007

A weekly summary of events, activities and information of interest to members of the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce.

MEMBER NOTES:

CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP SURVEY: The Chamber is working on a Strategic Plan and needs the input of the members to determine how to best meet member needs, improve existing member benefits and move forward in serving the business community. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey at the URL address below. While it may take a few minutes, your input will be very important to the Strategic Planning process. Those members who complete the survey and provide their contact information will be entered into a drawing, and one lucky person will win a Great Balls of Fire raffle ticket (a value of $100) for the Chamber’s annual fundraiser and Business After Hours event on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds.

CHAMBER TOURISM WEB SITE:

We would like to remind our members that there is a new tourism web site at www.visityubasutter.com. It includes a calendar for tourism-related community events and activities. Several members have already used the calendar, which allows you to post your own entries.

It is a goal that the new Chamber web site calendar at www.yubasutterchamber.com will have a similar function as we further develop the site.  Please visit both new web sites.
