"Great Balls of Fire!" is the Chamber's major annual fundraising event, held this year in the Main Exhibit Building of the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds, 442 Franklin Avenue, in Yuba City. It is a "reverse raffle" that involves drawing red balls from a drum for prizes, hence the fun event name. A maximum of 300 balls will be sold, and many prizes collected and distributed, meaning excellent chances to win. Sponsorships are available, and raffle tickets ($100) may be purchased from any Board member, Ambassador, or Chamber staff beginning some time in June. There is no charge to attend the event, watch the fun, have some super hors d'oeuvres, and network, while members raise funds to assist the Chamber mission. This event takes the place of the normal September Business After Hours.
